Resources To Help You Change Your Context
In my previous article, I wrote about how the latest in my collection of Rich Dad Poor Dad books talks about the importance of changing your context. If you want to get rich - or even affluent - you need to change how you think about things. Open your mind, and possibilities start flowing… along with profits usually
I love to read, research, and learn. That’s probably why the Rich Dad books are some of my favorites. They teach me about things I was never exposed to growing up, and they challenge me to expand my mind.
I was reminded of a few other resources recently, which have a similar effect, and I thought I’d share them with you.
5 Bucks A Day (Jr.) - Despite being called “Jr”, this ebook is well over 60 pages long, and it contains ideas about Internet Marketing which some of you may have never heard of or considered before.
This book is not designed to provide you with tools or business plans. Instead, it helps open up your mind to an approach to business and marketing which you may not have thought of before. Just the change in approach is really refreshing, plus it easily doable and it makes perfect sense.
My version of 5 Bucks a Day is a couple of years old and I don’t know if the current version has any updates or changes to it or not, but if you could use a fresh take on Internet or Affiliate marketing, check it out
Another thing I came across recently was the Success Alert ebook. Technically I was reminded of it by an email letting me know that a new version was out.
The original Success Alert ebook played a big part in my creation of datafeed websites. I was very inspired by the profiles in the first book. I don’t remember the exact details, but one of the businesses profiled in that first book was a retail style setup, and that inspired me to try the same type of thing using tangible affiliate products instead.
John emailed me recently to let me know that Volume 2 was released at the beginning of May. I haven’t had time to really dig deeply into it yet so I don’t have a full fledged review for you, but I have done my standard first pass of it and I can tell you this: There’s a whole new collection of inspirational stories waiting in this book for you
I love these books because they’re fresh and different. They’re not clogged with the usual hype and guru backslapping that too many products are today. Instead, the Success Alert books profile business owners most of us have never heard of, who are actually out there in their own niche trenches and raking in hundreds of thousands of dollars in the process. So if you haven’t checked this one out yet and you’re ready for some context changing ideas, go get it!
