Whether you’re new to Internet or Affiliate marketing or not, you’ll find yourself constantly running across references to “content”. In most cases, people talk about text as content. This text is often topic specific articles, but sometimes it’s a glossary or definition entry, small tip or blurb of some kind, and so on.
Online though, content is pretty much everything. Videos are a form of content, as are pictures, drawings, digital graphics, and even audio. Content is basically whatever it is you’re providing to your website visitors.
Text based content is the most common because that’s what search engines can read and index. Having text based content on your website is a critical factor in getting that website indexed and ranked well in the search engines.
